Providing Peace of Mind One Inspection at a Time

Meet Your Inspector

I’m a fully licensed and insured home inspector who considers himself so very lucky to have lived in the Blue Ridge Mountains for the last 20 years with my absolutely amazing wife and two equally wonderful young boys.

From working in the trades, landscaping, and real estate, to rehabbing an 1890 historic farmhouse in East Asheville I simply live and breathe houses. I treat every home inspection as if it were for my own family and I am always willing to go the extra mile.

Have a question from the report you need to text me at midnight or a home maintenance question 5 years later? Send it my way, I got you covered.

I’ve studied with the top home inspection association, been mentored by one of the top inspectors in the country, and use the best tools and software in the business.

Choosing me will give you peace of mind and a very professional and comprehensive report from an inspector who truly cares.

Buyers Inspections

Buying a home is one of the biggest investments you will ever make. Before you buy, you should have a home inspection to avoid potentially costly repairs that would otherwise go undetected until they become even more costly. This is my typical home inspection that catches common defects so you understand the investment you’re making.

Pre-Listing Inspections

Some homeowners want to make repairs to their house before they put it on the market and will make repairs using their inspection report as a baseline reference. Please understand that most buyers will still want to perform their own inspection even if the seller has already had an inspection done.

Thermal Imaging (Free)

Thermal imagery provides an immediate look at the condition of the home, without having to tear anything apart to see inside of walls.

Radon Testing

Radon is colorless and odorless, and it is extremely carcinogenic. According to the EPA, radon is one of the leading contributors to the development of lung cancer, behind only smoking. For this reason, regular radon testing is key whether you’re a homeowner, or you’re interested in purchasing a home.

The Best Modern Report in the Industry

The Best Modern Report in the Industry

While Night Wolf Home Inspections encourages clients to walk through the home with me, I understand that you may be too busy, and may not have time to do so.

Regardless of whether or not you attend the inspection, I will compile a comprehensive Spectora report, which includes all of the information you need to determine the condition of the home.

I will deliver your report within 24 hours of the conclusion of your home inspection, so that you can quickly access a full overview of our findings – and discuss them with me and your agent.

Frequently Asked Questions

A home inspection is an objective visual examination of the physical structure and systems of a house, from the roof to the foundation. Home inspections are designed to protect the buyer, by revealing problems they might not have noticed otherwise.

Our home inspections start at $375. The cost will vary based on the square footage of the home, the age of the home, and location of the home. Call, text, or email us for a quote today!

Home inspections generally take 2 to 4 hours to complete. The duration of a home inspection depends on many factors such as the size of the home, the condition of the home, and the ability to access certain areas of the home (roof, crawl space, attic, etc.).

Although it is not necessary, we do think it’s beneficial that you attend the inspection. What we recommend is to come at the end of the inspection where we can do a full and thorough walkthrough of the entire home explaining everything we’ve found and answering any and all questions. If you can’t attend (or have additional questions later on) we are always available to answer all questions or go over the report with you via phone, email, text, or FaceTime.

It is important to note that no house is perfect. At the end of the home inspection process, we will provide a detailed report that describes the physical condition of the property, with images and videos highlighting what may need repair or replacement. The information provided is to allow a potential buyer to make an informed decision about moving forward with the transaction. It is not pass or fail.
